YOU HAVE TO TRY THE BRIE AND STEAK! INCREDIBLE! I have driven by for years and only just suggested Jaquelines Bistro to my husband (Friday, May 17, 2013). The service was exceptional and it was quite obvious our waitress was genuinely interested in our stories. My husband and I shared the brie and then I had the steak while he tried the lamb. We were both extremely pleased with our meals and walked away proclaiming our return in the near future. Highly recommend!
we were there before Christmas with a family that had been there many times before. It was on their recommendation. It was fabulous. Great home cooked food and each one of us had something different and it was all delicious. Service was warm and attentive. We are going back for a b;day celebration at the end of January.
I have dined at Jacqueline's Bistro for many years, have celebrated many special occasions there and have enjoyed it everytime. My most recent visit was a luncheon with friends (most of which had never been) and they couldn't say enough. The food was fresh, and delishious our server was efficient and friendly. we will be back for may more outings...
I recently returned to Jacqueine's expecting the same fine food and service that I have experienced in the past. However, my friend and I were disappointed. Lunch for two cost me $60.00, with no offering of water or bread to accompany our meal. We had to ask for cutlery. My lunch consisted of 1/2 crepe with a small side of salad, not adequate for the price. When asked if there would be anything else, we requested a second cup of coffee but our server did not return so we gave up on it...and will not be back. The one redeeming feature was our dessert which was delicious.
Felt like the food was less than exciting. Grilled (warmed?) pear salad sat on a plate of mixed greens that could have come from Costco. Price was not indicitive of value. Overpriced for product in the 'burbs. Service was less than stellar...a disappointment, overall.
Our elderly aunt suggested Jacqueline's for lunch and we were very glad she did! Nice setting and great food ... I had the Mexican chicken crepe and it was delicious. The others had the salmon - Lemon and blackened - and enjoyed both. I would recommend a reservation because it was just luck we could get a table.
We went there last night on recommendations and were not disappointed. I loved my lamb burger. A delightful spot. i wish there was one like this in McKenzie.
Quaint and private. We had a fantastic chicken dish (carmelized onions, mushrooms, brie). A nice place to take someone for a special event.
Highly Recommend!
